In case the rum barrels started leaking and soaking into the gunpowder, the alcohol content had to be at least 57% as anything below this would mean that the gunpowder would not burn. This navy strength spiced rum is created with a blend of rums from Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, and is infused with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and aromatic tonka bean.
