Description

When life gives you lemons, stick ‘em in alcohol. Shrouded in mystery, nobody knows where lemons originally came from. Somewhere around the Northeast of India represents anyone’s best guess. We do know that lemons made it to Europe through Italy around the second century AD. These days, lemon trees are grown across multiple continents and, in the right conditions, can produce fruit year-round. Not only do they taste great, lemon juice can be used as a viable cleaning product, insect repellent or even for revealing invisible maps drawn on the back of the Declaration of Independence. At TCSCo. we aren’t so much interested in the juice as we are the essential oils in the skin. Our lemon infusion can add a level of freshness and zing to your blend, which is great if you want to make cocktails. Perhaps blend it with cardamom, ginger and orange or lend a vibrant accent to a rum with prevailing flavours of vanilla and coconut.
