Strength, Proof, ABV... Are all terms that relate to the alcohol content of a beverage. ABV (Alcohol By Volume) is the percentage of alcohol in a blend and the norm for spirits labels in the UK.
In order to legally be called a Rum, our blends have to achieve an ABV of at least 37.5%, but we don't stop there...
Choose between an ABV of:
37.5% - A lighter spirit
40% - The most common go to
45% - Great for cocktails
57% - Navy Strength (it's pretty hardcore at sea)
Remember that the higher the ABV selection, the greater the alcohol content, the greater that 'hot' taste that is so famously associated with booze.Close Tab
